Using
art, body awareness, curiosity and dream exploration, we may begin to
integrate aspects of ourselves that we have hidden away, refused or cut
off from our lives. | | Behrend Counseling Arts is
dedicated to the Soul's journey toward wholeness. I believe we all
yearn for authenticity, to live the life we were meant to embody. For
so many of us, our authentic selves have had to hide in order to please
others: family, culture, society, religion. At some point, we get
tired of feeling inauthentic or incomplete and we are driven to
explore who we truly are. My goal as a counselor and spiritual
director is to accompany you on the journey towards wholeness. My
orientation to this work is based on 15 years of experience as a
minister, my work as a hospital chaplain and my studies and passion for
art, archetype and myth.
Specific areas of expertise are:
- Patterns that rule our lives
- Relationship of self to self
- Relationship of self to others
- Relationship of self to the sacred, however personally defined.
